Hi!  I’m Cassidy, owner of Flour & Flourish.  My love of wedding cake started with the first one I ever made back in 2009 while I was attending culinary school.  I truly love what I do and I feel like I have the best job ever.  I obsess over sugar flowers.  I’ve had the pleasure of being featured in Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, which is one of my proudest moments to date.  And I never get tired of chocolate or carrot cake.

I bake all my cakes and make all my buttercreams with BUTTER.  I never use shortening in my baked goods and I never will.  Butter has flavor.  Shortening is flavorless.
